Created in 1993, Concerto was the first single-vineyard vintage Lambrusco Salamino ever made, and it's credited with single-handedly rehabilitating Lambrusco's reputation after the sweet, industrial "Lambrusco boom" of the 1970s-80s nearly wrecked the category. 100% Lambrusco Salamino from Reggio Emilia, certified organic, fermented in steel with no oak aging — meant to be drunk young. Intense ruby red with a lively violet froth, bursting with fresh strawberry, tart cherry, and wild raspberry on the nose, bone-dry and crisp on the palate with a fine, persistent mousse and a light tannic grip. Genuinely food-friendly and built to cut through rich, fatty dishes — think charcuterie, pizza, or holiday roasts.
