From a cooler, higher parcel at the top of the climat with a southwest aspect, this is straight, edgy, pure, and lithe — lighter and nervier, sharper and more saline, pinging with shiny, salty minerals and fizzling with energy, possibly the best of the vintage. Drink 2027–2035.

"An exuberantly floral-suffused nose speaks of brine, petrol, apple and pretty spice wisps, all of which is trimmed in just enough wood to notice. There is both good volume and verve to the delicious, rich and refined middle weight flavors that also flash evident minerality on the more complex and impeccably well-balanced finale. Good stuff and worth checking out."
