2024 Winiveria - Khikhvi Classic (750ml)

A rare and captivating white wine from one of the world's oldest wine cultures — and a wonderful introduction to Georgia's most elegant and aromatic indigenous white grape. Winiveria was established in the famed Alazani River Valley as part of the prestigious Château Mere destination winery and resort complex at the gateway to Georgia's premier wine region, crafting wines in both traditional Georgian and classical European styles. Khikhvi is an ancient Kakhetian variety — nearly lost during Soviet consolidation of vineyards, it survived in small family plots and has since re-emerged as one of Georgia's most refined and expressive white varieties, often described as "the noble white of Kakheti."  

Hand-harvested in late September, fermented in stainless steel using classic European technique and aged on tank for six months before bottling — a clean, precise approach that showcases Khikhvi's natural aromatic brilliance without interference.
