Argatia Winery is a small family estate founded in 2000 by Panagiotis Georgiadis, a specialist in agricultural cooperation, and Dr. Haroula Spinthiropoulou, an agronomist and author on Greek grapevine varieties. Based in Rodochori, in the Naoussa region of Macedonia in northern Greece, the winery takes its name from an old Pontic Greek term meaning "cooperation for a common purpose," reflecting the couple's shared vision. Their son Christophoros has since joined the family project.

Haroula White is grown in the Krasta vineyards of Rodochori at around 260 meters altitude, on nutrient-rich soil with a touch of calcium carbonate. The vineyards have been farmed organically since 1999, focused on indigenous Greek varieties. This cuvée typically blends Malagousia and Assyrtiko, sometimes with a small portion of Xinomavro vinified as a blanc de noir, and rests on the lees for about two months to build texture and depth.

The wine shows aromatic ripe peach and citrus fruit balanced by Assyrtiko's bright acidity and stony minerality, with herbaceous undertones and a long, textured finish. It pairs well with trout, grilled pork, or other dishes that call for a fuller-bodied white.
