2025 Clos St. Magdeleine - Cassis Blanc (750ml)

One of the most evocative whites in France — and one of the most underappreciated. Harnessing the herbal and savory side of traditional varieties Marsanne, Ugni Blanc, and Clairette, with a hint of white peach, Clos Sainte-Magdeleine's mineral, crunchy Cassis Blanc transports you to the sea every time. Vineyards jut out on a private cape below Cap Canaille — France's highest coastal cliff — where salt air, limestone, and Mediterranean sun converge in every glass. Hazelnut, a hint of pastry, and a saline touch on the nose; the palate is coated with that same salinity and a slight bitterness that adds substance to the finish — round and elegant, ideal for the table. Only a handful of vignerons produce AOC Cassis, and most of it never leaves the region. Drink now–2028.
