Château Grézan sits in the Faugères hills of the Languedoc, near the village of Laurens in the Hérault, its striking neo-medieval architecture sometimes nicknamed "le petit Carcassonne." Classified a historic monument since 1993, the estate has been run for generations by the Cros-Pujol family, who farm both the steep, schist-laced slopes of the Faugères appellation and broader parcels released under the more flexible IGP Pays d'Oc designation. Coqcitan Blanc is part of that IGP Pays d'Oc range, crafted to showcase an easygoing, sun-drenched style distinct from the estate's more structured Faugères bottlings.

Sourced from vineyards scattered across the Pays d'Oc, the fruit for Coqcitan Blanc is grown in a warm, garrigue-scented corner of southern France, where Mediterranean sunshine and rocky, well-drained soils help build ripeness while cooling influences preserve acidity.
