2025 Tomaiolo - Pinot Grigio delle Venezie HALF BOTTLE (375ml)

Tomaiolo is produced by the Castellani family winery, a Tuscan wine house founded in 1903 that has grown into one of the region's most established producers. The family farms more than 250 hectares across some of Tuscany's most respected zones, including Chianti Classico and the Pisa hills, and operates dedicated wineries in each growing area so that fruit can be processed quickly after harvest without long transport times. Castellani has also moved away from chemical fertilizers and pesticides across its vineyards, favoring more environmentally conscious farming methods.

This Pinot Grigio is sourced from selected hillside vineyards within the Venezie zone, an area spanning Veneto, Trentino, and Friuli Venezia Giulia that has become one of Italy's most recognized regions for the variety. Made from one hundred percent Pinot Grigio, the wine is vinified to highlight freshness and immediate drinkability rather than weight or oak influence, a style well suited to the grape's naturally light character.

In the glass, the wine shows a straw yellow color with greenish reflections. The nose offers a balanced mix of apple, peach, and hawthorn blossom, carrying through to a palate that is fresh, harmonious, and easy to enjoy. It works well as an aperitif on its own, or alongside a plate of prosciutto or a simple seafood salad.
