Herradura Silver -PINT- Tequila 375ml
Casa Herradura traces its history to Hacienda San José del Refugio, founded in 1870 near Amatitán, Jalisco, and remains rooted in that same traditional site today. The distillery has built its reputation on authentic, time-honored methods, from hand harvesting by legacy jimadores to using original agave plants propagated on the estate since the company's founding, giving Herradura Silver a direct connection to that 150-year lineage.
Herradura Silver is made from 100% estate-grown Blue Weber agave harvested at peak maturity, slow cooked in traditional clay ovens, crushed, and left to ferment naturally with wild yeast before double distillation in copper stills. Unlike most blanco-style tequilas, which are bottled straight off the still, this one rests for up to 45 days in American white oak barrels, a brief but deliberate touch of aging meant to soften and round the spirit while keeping its core agave character intact and additive free.
The nose offers fresh agave, citrus, and light vanilla alongside herbal notes. On the palate the tequila is bright, with agave, lime zest, and pepper balanced by creamy vanilla and gentle oak, finishing smooth and lingering with citrus, pepper, and a touch of soft sweetness.
