Maestro Dobel Diamante Cristalino Tequila 750ml
Maestro Dobel was founded in 2008 by Juan Domingo Beckmann Legorreta, the eleventh-generation leader of the family behind Jose Cuervo, working alongside master distillers Marco Anguiano and Luis Yerenas to build a brand independent of the family's flagship name. The tequila is distilled from 100% blue Weber agave grown on a single Jalisco highland estate, with each plant left to mature for eight to ten years before harvest. Dobel is credited with introducing the cristalino category to the world, a style that has since been widely copied across the tequila industry.
Diamante is a blend of extra añejo, añejo, and reposado tequilas, each aged separately in new white oak barrels sourced from the Balkan region before being combined. After blending, the spirit goes through a careful filtration process that strips away the color gained during aging while leaving the flavor compounds largely intact, resulting in a liquid that pours crystal clear yet carries the depth of a much darker tequila.
That contrast defines the tasting experience. The nose offers warm vanilla and toasted oak layered with sweet agave, dried fruit, and a light floral lift. On the palate, caramel, honey, and ripe stone fruit unfold over smooth cooked agave with a touch of baking spice, finishing long, clean, and gently sweet with lingering oak.
