Patrón is produced at Hacienda Patrón, NOM 1492, in Atotonilco El Alto, Jalisco, a distillery established in 2006 to consolidate production of the brand that helped launch the modern ultra-premium tequila category in the United States. Patrón built its reputation on combining traditional and modern extraction methods, blending agave crushed by a stone tahona and fermented with its fibers alongside agave processed through a roller mill, a technique meant to capture both rustic depth and clean consistency in every batch.

This reposado is distilled twice from 100% Blue Weber agave in small batches, then rests for a minimum of four months in used American oak barrels, some of which previously held whiskey. That relatively short barrel period sits it firmly between Patrón's unaged blanco and its longer aged añejo, adding a layer of oak influence while still keeping the agave character front and center rather than letting the wood dominate.

The result is a light amber spirit with an approachable, well balanced profile. Cooked agave and toasted oak open the nose alongside vanilla and a touch of honey, while the palate brings citrus, caramel, and light whiskey barrel spice over a sweet agave base. The finish is warm and clean, closing with lingering vanilla and a gentle floral note.
