1792 Bottled in Bond Whiskey 750ml
Released annually each fall, this expression pays tribute to the Bottled-in-Bond Act of 1897, a piece of legislation credited with restoring consumer trust in American whiskey. To carry the label, the bourbon must come from a single distilling season at one distillery, age at least four years in a federally bonded warehouse, and bottle at exactly 100 proof. Built on 1792's signature high-rye mash bill, expect a nose of sweet red fruit, cherry, and orange peel, moving into a rich, buttery palate of honey, raisin, and vanilla, with oak-driven depth throughout and a warm, lingering finish. A step up in intensity and structure from 1792 Small Batch, at a reasonable premium.
