"Clean and fresh with very pure, flinty blackberry flavors and tangy acidity nicely framing the slightly chunky tannins. Finishes long and juicy with hints of coffee and cocoa. This is extremely concentrated and rich for an entry-level wine. A blend of 97% Carignano and 3% Syrah, the grapes come mainly from the estate vineyard in Palau."
