The second wine of the iconic Lynch-Bages estate, the 2020 Echo punches well above its class and offers a genuine taste of Pauillac at a fraction of the grand vin's price. Classic Pauillac aromas lead the way — blackcurrant, scorched earth, violets, and lead pencil — in a big, rich, and nicely concentrated package that captures the fresh yet powerful character of the vintage.  On the palate it's medium-bodied with succulent, slightly grainy tannins and a sleek, saline finish that keeps things poised and refreshing. Blended from 60% Cabernet Sauvignon and 40% Merlot, aged 12 months in one-year-old French oak, it's approachable now but will continue to develop through the early 2030s. Drink 2024–2035.
