That stem addition is seamlessly integrated on the nose and allows the almost boisterous black cherry and raspberry scents to flourish. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannins, sweet and candied in style but judiciously spiced and very well structured on the long, saline finish. This is a stylish Gevrey-Chambertin."
