2020 Cellar Cecilio - Priorat Black Slate Gratallops Vi De La Vila is a 750ml Priorat red wine produced by Cellar Cecilio. This 2020 vintage comes from Gratallops and carries the Vi De La Vila designation, signaling lineage from the village-level terroir within Priorat’s renowned Black Slate landscape.

While specific tasting notes aren’t listed in this description, you can expect the wine to reflect the slate-influenced character that defines the region and the depth typical of Priorat wines labeled Vi De La Vila. It is built for careful cellaring and pairs well with hearty, ruby-red dishes and aged cheeses when the moment calls for a wine with presence and provenance.

Presented in a standard 750ml bottle, this expression from Cellar Cecilio offers an accessible entry point into the Priorat’s distinctive style while remaining a collectible addition for lovers of slate terroir-driven wines.

"August Vicent is not only the proprietor of Celler Cecilio, the oldest registered estate in Priorat (established in 1942), but he happens to be a neighbor of Daphne Glorian and Eric Solomon in the small village of Gratallops. He makes characterful, lush, and exotically-spiced wines from his vineyards in the village and has been persuaded to sell us some for our Black Slate Gratallops. It is a blend of Garnatxa Negra, Carinyena, and Syrah from vines ranging from 20 to 65+ years old. Fermented entirely with indigenous yeasts, it is aged in a combination of concrete and French oak barrels."
