"Totally unique yet seductive, the 2020 Rosso di Montalcino Ginestreto
wafts up with a wild mix of ginger spiced cookie, sour cherries, zests of
tangerine and violets. This is a seductress on the palate, silky and supple,
with a pretty inner sweetness and mineral-tinged red berries that add a
more tactile feel toward the close. Purple and blue-toned inner florals
resonate throughout, as the 2020 finishes with a gentle tug of tannin and a
staining of wild berry preserves that keep me looking back to the glass for
more. This may not be the longest-lived rendition of Ginestreto, but it will
certainly make fans of Fuligni very happy over the next three to five years."
