2020 Givat Titora - Merlot Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve Kosher (750ml)

Givat Titora comes from Titora Winery, a boutique operation founded in 2008 in the small community of Kfar Ruth, set opposite the hill for which the winery is named, overlooking the city of Modi'in. Started as a personal project born from a passion for wine and a connection to the land of Israel, the winery remains small in scale, bottling its wines under the label La Citadelle de Diamant. This reserve bottling is produced under full kosher supervision and is also certified kosher for Passover.

Fruit for this reserve blend is drawn from two sources: an estate vineyard near the winery in Kfar Ruth and, since 2011, a higher-elevation vineyard atop the Judean hills, roughly 850 meters above sea level. That altitude brings cooler nights during the growing season, helping the Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes retain acidity and develop concentrated flavor even as they ripen fully under Israel's Mediterranean sun.

The blend delivers a rich, intense character, with dark plum and blackberry notes set against firm, structured tannins from the Cabernet Sauvignon backbone. Merlot rounds out the mid-palate, giving the wine a fuller, more approachable texture alongside its grip. It suits grilled steak, braised beef stews, or a sharp aged cheddar equally well.
