2020 Marc Morey - Chassagne Montrachet Chenevottes (750ml)

Domaine Marc Morey farms 8.5 hectares in Chassagne-Montrachet, including a tiny parcel of Bâtard-Montrachet Grand Cru, with a range built around several well-situated premier crus. Chenevottes is consistently one of the domaine's most reliable sites. The 2020 shows a sunny, warm, and glossy nose, ripely rounded and generous on the palate, with plenty of savory depth beneath the rich fruit, all held together by a good, firm structural line. A classically built Chassagne white from a vintage that, despite an unusually early harvest, produced wines with real concentration and balancing acidity.
