"With cliff-hugging vines that overlook a beautiful Mediterranean panorama, this is a so-called "extreme wine" that requires untold labor and patience to produce, given the difficulties of the terrain. The 2021 Ischia Tenuta Frassitelli is a pure expression of the graceful and floral Biancolella grape. Lots of honey and crisp pear lift from the bouquet, and there is a very evident touch of salinity or crushed seashell. The vines range from 18 to 45 years in age and 50,000 bottles were made."
