2021 Foradori - Teroldego Vigneti delle Dolomiti Granato (750ml)

The wine that put Teroldego on the world map, first made by Elisabetta Foradori in 1986. Sourced from three parcels of the oldest estate vines — planted 1938–1956 on the most gravelly Dolomitic limestone soils of Campo Rotaliano — aged 15 months in large old botti, then bottled unfiltered and held another year before release. Dark as night, the 2021 smolders with crushed ashen stones, black raspberries, mentholated herbs, and exotic spice. Silky yet taut on the palate, with tart wild berry fruits, vibrant acidity, and edgy tannins that grumble on — an especially intense, tightly knit vintage that will pay dividends in the cellar.
