Reserva is Pago de los Capellanes' flagship expression, sourced from the estate's oldest vines in Pedrosa de Duero — stony, low-fertility clay-limestone soils that push yields down and concentration up. 100% Tinto Fino, aged 14 months in French oak barrels followed by extended bottle aging before release. An elegant red, deftly integrating a detailed range of crème de cassis, blackberry paste, fresh thyme, and cedar with fine, sculpted tannins and refreshing acidity. Long and creamy on the finish, with pretty floral, spice, and graphite accents lingering.
