Brunello pedigree at a fraction of the price — from one of Montalcino's most celebrated estates.

Led by winemaker Riccardo Talenti, the estate has risen to become one of Tuscany's true standouts — their elite Brunellos are benchmark wines, and their Rosso is where you get that same terroir and winemaking philosophy at an accessible price.

Estate-owned vineyards on the south-easterly and south-westerly slopes of Montalcino, farmed on sandy topsoil with clay and friable stones. Around 60% of the wine is aged in 500-liter French oak tonneaux and the remaining 40% in Slavonian oak barrels — a hybrid approach that preserves the bright, vibrant character Rosso demands while adding subtle complexity.

Intense ruby red with violet reflections, the nose is fresh and fruity with cherry, plum, and black cherry. On the palate, smooth and mineral with good structure and well-balanced tannins — exactly what great Rosso di Montalcino should deliver. The 2021 vintage brought cool conditions and exceptional freshness, making it one of the most elegant recent expressions of the appellation.

Drink it now with pasta, salumi, or roasted chicken — or hold it for a few years and watch it blossom.
