Anthill Farms was founded by Anthony Filiberti, David Low, and Webster Marquez, three winemakers who met while working at Sonoma's Williams Selyem and went on to build their own project around a shared philosophy: let Pinot Noir, one of the most transparent grapes in the world, speak honestly for the cool-climate sites that grow it. The trio farms many of the small parcels they source from themselves, applying meticulous, low-impact viticulture across a scattered collection of North Coast vineyards.

Jack Hill sits above the Bodega Valley just six miles from the Pacific, on Goldridge soils that push this cuvee to ripen later than any other bottling in the Anthill lineup. Fruit comes from Calera and 115 clones, with tiny, concentrated forty-gram clusters that intensify flavor and structure. About eighty percent whole cluster is used, native yeast carries the three-week fermentation with daily punchdowns, and the wine spends twelve months in barrel, thirty percent new French oak, before bottling. Only around 150 cases were produced.

The result is an elegant, perfumed Pinot Noir with real detail and lift, showing a silky texture balanced by fine, lingering tension rather than weight. Expect layers of red fruit and floral aromatics that unfold gradually in the glass. It suits roasted duck, grilled salmon, or a simple lentil stew.
