Bodegas Tempore is a family-run winery in Aragón, Spain, founded on the shared knowledge of four generations devoted to winemaking on the same land. Located near Zaragoza in the town of Lécera, the estate has committed itself to organic and sustainable production since 2002, treating its vineyards and soils with the same care passed down by earlier generations. Generación 76 embodies the winery's rebellious spirit, described by the producers as a wine made without rigid rules, built instead on curiosity and a willingness to take risks in the cellar.

The grapes for this cuvee grow at Finca La Merla in Lécera, at an elevation of roughly 560 meters, where limy, sandy clay soils and scant annual rainfall keep yields naturally low. This combination of altitude, mineral-rich earth, and a dry Mediterranean climate concentrates flavor in the Tempranillo grapes and lends the finished wine its full-bodied, earthy character. After a cold pre-fermentation maceration, the wine ferments in stainless steel using native yeasts before a short aging period in oak.

The result is a deep purple-rimmed red bursting with strawberry, blackberry, and red fruit aromas, layered with hints of licorice, minerals, and lightly toasted oak leading to cocoa notes. Its round, velvety texture makes it a natural match for grilled lamb chops, chorizo, or aged Manchego.
