2022 Ca du Ferra - Colline di Levanto DOC Luccicante (750ml)

From one of Liguria's most dramatically situated estates, where terraced vineyards perch on steep slopes overlooking the Ligurian Sea at 400 meters elevation — spread across Bonassola, Riomaggiore, Vernazza, and Levanto, extending into the Cinque Terre National Park itself.  "Luccicante" — Italian for "sparkling" or "glittering" — is 100% Vermentino, fermented in stainless steel to preserve every ounce of coastal freshness. Bright silver-straw in the glass, the nose delivers crisp grapefruit, elderflower, wet grass, and sea salt with a delicate candy-like lift. On the palate it's clear and precise, with vibrant acidity and fresh fruit — juicy and dancing on the finish.  A cultured and refined wine that encapsulates the essence of a land that feeds on sunlight and sea. Serve well-chilled with grilled branzino, fried anchovies, or a simple seafood pasta.
