2022 Clos Du Val - Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Estate

Founded in 1972 in the renowned Stags Leap District, Clos Du Val first made its name at the legendary Judgment of Paris in 1976  — and over 50 years later, it remains one of Napa's most reliably elegant estates. The 2022 is a classic Bordeaux-inspired blend of 77% Cabernet Sauvignon, 12% Merlot, 5% Malbec, 4% Cabernet Franc, and 2% Petit Verdot,  opening with aromas of blackberry, cassis, violet, and a hint of fresh herbs. On the palate, juicy black fruits are woven with stimulating spice, carried by balanced acidity and fine-grained tannins to a mouthwatering, lengthy finish. Approachable now with a decant, but built to reward 5–8 years in the cellar. A perennial value in serious Napa Cab.
