A step above the estate's standard Côtes du Rhône, created specifically to showcase Christophe Sabon's ability to marry richness with finesse — the same talent behind some of Châteauneuf-du-Pape's most celebrated wines. Moderately tannic with beautiful structure, delivering crushed strawberry and blackberry on the nose with a hint of licorice. Round and ripe on the palate, with mulled cherry and steeped tea edged in graphite and warm earth, grippy tannins keeping the generous finish honest, with incense smoke blowing from start to finish. Exceptional QPR from one of the Southern Rhône's benchmark estates.
