2022 Jean-Marc Bouley - Beaune Reversees (750ml) [PRE ARRIVAL]

Now largely run by Thomas Bouley alongside his father Jean-Marc, this Volnay-based domaine farms a small 0.58-hectare parcel of Les Reversées, planted in 1963 and 1976, on clay-limestone soil with gravel at the bottom of a sunny slope. Vinified with 30 to 75% whole cluster and aged 18 months on the lees in oak (25% new), the wine is bottled unfined and unfiltered with minimal sulfur. Wine Advocate called the 2022 charming and elegant, bursting with aromas of flower petals, blood orange, and spice mingled with sweet cherries and raspberries. A refined, site-specific Beaune from one of the appellation's most consistently well-reviewed producers.
