Experience the 2022 Justin Cabernet Sauvignon from Paso Robles, a portrait of the estate’s long-standing philosophy: expressive fruit balanced by refined structure. Justin Vineyards & Winery, founded in 1981 by Justin Baldwin, drew early acclaim for the limestone hillside sites that give Paso Robles its signature finesse, a tradition this vintage continues.

In the cellar, grapes are hand-picked and berry-by-berry sorted, then fermented in stainless steel with twice-daily pump-overs to build color and backbone. The wine rests about 14 months in French oak, with a portion aged in new barrels to lend a polished edge while preserving the bright Paso Robles fruit character.

Tasting notes

  • Nose: red raspberry and black cherry intertwined with vanilla, soft herbs, and warming spice.
  • Palate: bright red plum and ripe cherry framed by velvety tannins, with caramel, toasted coconut, fennel, and sage contributing depth.
  • Finish: long and elegant, finishing with floral notes and a subtle pepper kiss.

Food pairings

  • Grilled steak
  • Backyard burgers
  • A wedge of Manchego
Appellation: Paso Robles
