Pierre-Yves Colin-Morey was founded in 2005 by Pierre-Yves Colin, after he left the domaine of his father Marc Colin, together with his wife Caroline Morey. The wines are whole-bunch pressed and fermented with natural yeasts, aged up to eighteen months mostly in 350-liter barrels with no lees stirring, and sealed with the house's distinctive long corks and soft wax to guard against premature oxidation.

Hommage à Marguerite blends fruit from four lieux-dits, Perrières, Combes, Créots, and Pitangerets, pressed and vinified together, a practice the domaine has followed since 2016. The intention is to capture the full range of exposures found across Saint-Aubin in a single cuvée, rather than isolating any one site, resulting in a wine of broad, layered character.

The wine shows white blossom, lemon zest, and green apple, with hints of crushed stone and hazelnut. Citrus and ripe pear lead the palate, joined by a touch of nectarine, steely minerality, and a chalky texture. It pairs nicely with grilled langoustines, roast chicken, or a young goat cheese, each matching its bright acidity and mineral drive.
