The result is a racy, precise Pinot Noir with pure fruit and a taut, mineral-driven frame. Dark ruby in color, with a complex nose of red and black fruit and rose petal layered with pepper and smoke; the palate is ample and juicy, framed by firm tannins that give it real structure and real aging potential — this is Lumpp's most serious cuvée, built to rival top Côte de Nuits premier crus with patience.
