2023 Jean-Marc Bouley - Beaune Reversees (750ml) [PRE ARRIVAL]

Now largely run by Thomas Bouley alongside his father Jean-Marc, this Volnay-based domaine farms a small 0.58-hectare parcel of Les Reversées, planted in 1963 and 1976, on clay-limestone soil with gravel at the bottom of a sunny slope. Vinified with 30 to 75% whole cluster and aged 18 months on the lees in oak (25% new), the wine is bottled unfined and unfiltered with minimal sulfur. Expect the site's signature profile: charming, elegant Pinot Noir with real floral lift and supple, polished tannins, from an estate widely regarded as one of Beaune's most consistent producers.
