2023 Ruggeri Corsini - Langhe Nebbiolo DOC (750ml)

The Barolo family’s everyday Nebbiolo. Podere Ruggeri Corsini is based in Monforte d’Alba and makes very good Barolo, and this Langhe Nebbiolo gives you the grape’s perfume without the wait. It’s a bright, luminous ruby, with rosehip tea, dried herbs and raspberries on the nose, and a hint of sealing wax. It’s juicy and precise on the palate, with a mineral, iron-like streak. Pour it with tajarin, mushroom risotto, roast chicken or aged cheese, and give it a short decant if you want it to open up.
