Vignoble des Cabottes is one of Burgundy's newest addresses, established in 2025 by Artémis Domaines to bring together an extraordinary set of parcels formerly associated with Bouchard Père et Fils, including the grand crus of Montrachet, Chevalier-Montrachet, and Corton, alongside leading premier crus in Meursault, Volnay, and Beaune. The estate takes its name from the "cabottes," small drystone shelters scattered throughout the vineyards of the Côte d'Or that have long served as simple refuges for vineyard workers and stand as enduring symbols of the region's traditional craftsmanship. Winemakers Victor Pépin and Frédéric Weber oversee the roughly 35 hectares gathered under the new label, with production eventually moving to a purpose-built facility at the Château de Puligny-Montrachet.

Les Clous is a lieu-dit set high on the slope above the village of Meursault, on calcareous clay soils over a clayey subsoil between 200 and 300 meters, where a cooler exposure than much of the appellation contributes brisk acidity and a distinctly mineral character. The wine is fermented in French oak and aged on its lees for around a year, with a restrained hand on new wood meant to let the site's natural precision come through.

The wine shows delicate aromas of lemon oil, green apple, white flowers, and crushed stone. The palate is precise and linear, layered with citrus zest and orchard fruit over a saline, chalky core, finishing long. It pairs beautifully with oysters, poached white fish, or a light vegetable terrine.
