Willm is a historic Alsace estate, founded in 1896 in Barr, at the foot of the majestic Kirchberg de Barr Grand Cru vineyard. Founder Emile Willm made history by exporting the estate's wines to the United States in the early 1930s, right after Prohibition laws were lifted, making them among the first Alsace wines ever sold there. Today the estate's vineyards span the Barr region at 200 to 400 meters elevation, where south-southeast exposure and a dry, sunny microclimate provide ideal growing conditions.

Gewürztraminer is one of the most distinctively aromatic grapes in the world, prized for its heady lychee, rose, and spice character. The 2023 Reserve is golden yellow with an intense, rich bouquet of exotic fruit, including passionfruit, pineapple, and lychee, layered with rose and spices like pepper and cinnamon. On the palate it's round and well balanced, with good persistence and a finish that leans into those same spicy notes. The wine is hand harvested, gently pressed, and fermented over four to six weeks in stainless steel before resting on fine lees for two to three additional months.

This Gewürztraminer shines as an aperitif or alongside Asian and Middle Eastern cuisines like Thai, Chinese, Moroccan, or Indian food, as well as roast meats with fruit, spiced salads, fruit tarts, and blue cheese.
