2024 Alain Hudelot-Noëllat · Richebourg Grand Cru

Region Vosne-Romanée, Côte de Nuits, Burgundy
Producer Domaine Alain Hudelot-Noëllat
Grape 100% Pinot Noir
Vineyard 0.28 ha parcel adjacent to Domaine de la Romanée-Conti
Winemaking 80% destemmed, indigenous yeasts, unfiltered, 16 months in 50% new oak
Drink 2030–2055+

Hudelot-Noëllat is one of Vosne-Romanée's most treasured estates — a domaine built on parcels inherited from two legendary Burgundian families and now recognized as a benchmark for elegance and purity across all levels of the range. Their 0.28-hectare Richebourg holding abuts the vines of DRC itself, and the wines it produces have consistently ranked among the grand cru's finest expressions. 2024 was a challenging but rewarding vintage on the Côte de Nuits, favoring producers with disciplined vineyard management — exactly Hudelot-Noëllat's métier. Neal Martin calls the 2024 "quite a dashing Richebourg," highlighting its mineral drive, fine but firm tannins, and impressive depth. A wine that will need time to fully reveal itself, but carries the unmistakable Vosne silkiness and lift that defines everything this domaine produces.

94-96 Points
"The 2024 Richebourg Grand Cru has a little more reduction on the nose compared to the Romanée-Saint-Vivant, well-defined with a touch of undergrowth. The palate is medium-bodied with fine but firm tannins, impressive depth, quite mineral-driven with a persistent finish and a persistent sapid aftertaste. Quite a dashing Richebourg but it will
need some time in bottle. Three barrels produced.
