The Brovia family established itself as winegrowers in Castiglione Falletto back in 1863, though it was Giacinto Brovia who revived the estate's vineyards in 1953, building the collection of prized Barolo crus the family is known for today, including holdings in Villero, Rocche di Castiglione, and the historic Brea cru in Serralunga. The estate is now run by Giacinto's daughter Elena alongside her husband Alex Sanchez, who continue the family's traditional, hands-on approach to winemaking.

Arneis is the sole white wine in Brovia's otherwise red-focused portfolio, sourced from a small parcel of vines over forty years old in Vezza d'Alba, within the Roero district just across the Tanaro River from the family's Barolo vineyards. The grapes are hand-picked, then macerate briefly before a stainless steel fermentation with no oak involved, a choice that keeps the wine focused on freshness and site character rather than richness.

The 2024 offers citrus and melon fruit with a touch of white pepper, framed by bright acidity and a distinctly mineral, saline finish. It's a versatile pour alongside shellfish, ceviche, or a simple vegetable-based dish.
