La Boudriotte is one of the more substantial Premier Cru sites within Chassagne-Montrachet, known for producing whites with real weight and self-assured structure alongside the appellation's signature minerality. Bruno Colin has cultivated this terroir since founding his own domaine in 2003, when the historic estate established by his father Michel Colin-Delèger was divided between Bruno and his brother Philippe. Working from the family's original winery in the heart of the village, Bruno now farms across more than thirty parcels spanning Chassagne-Montrachet, Puligny-Montrachet, and Saint-Aubin, with La Boudriotte standing as one of his more powerful expressions within the range.

The 2024 vintage opens with an overtly floral nose, showing acacia and rose petal alongside touches of pear, citrus, and warm spice. On the palate, the wine carries a generous yet punchy mouthfeel, retaining the innate power characteristic of a fine Boudriotte through an impressively persistent finish. Fresh almond and gentle spice notes add nuance, while the wine's dry, structured backbone points to real aging potential over the coming years.

Serve chilled in a proper white Burgundy glass, and this pairs well with shellfish, roast poultry, mushroom risotto, or aged Camembert.

92 Points
"An overtly floral-suffused nose displays nuances of acacia and rose petal along with touches of pear, citrus and spice. Here too the medium-bodied flavors possess a gorgeous mouthfeel that is at once generous but punchy while retaining the innate power of a fine Boudriotte on the impressively persistent finale. Once again, better depth would be welcome but more should develop with a few years of aging. Worth considering."
