En Remilly sits at the edge of Chassagne-Montrachet, bordering Puligny-Montrachet and lying close to the celebrated grand cru vineyards that define the appellation's reputation. Bruno Colin farms a small parcel here, just under half a hectare shared among only a handful of growers, on clay-limestone soil ideally suited to producing Chardonnay that leans toward tension and refinement rather than weight. Since taking over part of his family's historic domaine in 2003, Bruno has built a reputation for precise, minerally whites across his eight Chassagne-Montrachet Premier Cru sites, and En Remilly is often considered one of the standouts among them for its proximity in style to neighboring Puligny.

In the demanding 2024 vintage, this cuvée continues that tradition, showing brightness and an almost ethereal balance rather than sheer richness. Expect a taut, saline structure with fine chalky texture, layered orchard fruit, and citrus notes carried by real underlying energy. The wine benefits from around twelve months in oak, a portion of it new, followed by additional time in tank to round out its freshness and depth before bottling.

Serve chilled in a proper white Burgundy glass, and give it a generous decant if drinking young. This wine pairs beautifully with shellfish, roast poultry, or delicate cream sauces.

93 Points
"A perfumed and more elegant nose features attractively cool and airy aromas of Granny Smith, wet stone, just grated citrus and a discreet application of wood. The racy, delicious and overtly stony medium weight flavors aren't nearly as dense but they are markedly finer while exhibiting excellent length on the complex, balanced and lightly austere finale. This beauty is very promising and a wine to look for."
