Bruno Colin is a fourth generation vigneron who took over part of his family's historic Chassagne-Montrachet estate in 2003, when the domaine founded by his father Michel Colin-Delèger was divided between Bruno and his brother Philippe. Working from the old family winery in the heart of the village, Bruno farms parcels across five communes on the Côte de Beaune, including eight separate Premier Cru bottlings within Chassagne-Montrachet itself. Les Vergers is one of the most respected of these crus, prized for the mineral clarity and refinement it consistently brings to the domaine's lineup.

In a technically demanding 2024 vintage, Bruno Colin produced white wines defined by tension and clarity rather than sheer weight, and this cuvée reflects that character well. Rather than impressing through richness, it draws its appeal from a cool, stony sensation and an internal energy that keeps you reaching for another sip. Expect layered orchard fruit and citrus over a chalky, saline core, with the wine's precision growing more apparent with air.

Serve chilled around 11°C in a proper white Burgundy glass, giving it a vigorous decant of about 45 minutes if drinking young to unlock its full range of aromatics. This is a wine built for extended cellaring, and pairs beautifully with shellfish, roasted poultry, or aged cheese.
