Bruno Colin is a fourth generation Chassagne-Montrachet vigneron who took over part of the historic family domaine, previously farmed under Michel Colin-Delèger, when it was divided among siblings in 2003. Today his estate spans nearly nine hectares across some of the Côte de Beaune's most coveted communes, including Chassagne-Montrachet, Puligny-Montrachet, Saint-Aubin, Santenay, and Maranges. Ma Vigne de 1955 takes its name from the age of the vines behind this particular bottling, old Chardonnay planted in 1955 within the Chassagne-Montrachet appellation's calcareous, stony soils.

In a demanding 2024 vintage, Bruno Colin crafted white wines defined more by mineral tension than sheer volume, showing real precision without sacrificing character. This cuvée reflects that style, offering a serene, distinctly Burgundian expression with a certain underlying concentration. Expect layered orchard and citrus notes wrapped around a chalky, saline core, carried by the wine's characteristic energy and length on the palate.

Serve at around 11°C in a proper white Burgundy glass, and give it a brief decant if drinking young to let its aromatics fully unfold. This is a wine built for the cellar as much as the table, pairing beautifully with veal tartare, toasted hazelnuts, or shavings of aged Comté.
