Casa Jipi is a playful, borderland project born from crisis and collaboration. The name, pronounced "Hippie," is a "pochismo," a Spanish adaptation of an English word, reflecting the cultural blend that defines the region. Times of difficulty brought together two families and two wineries, uniting Rancho Llano Colorado, one of the region's most important grape producers, with Vinícola Bruma, an up-and-coming winery pushing the boundaries of Mexican winemaking.

The wines are made under the direction of Lourdes "Lulú" Martínez Ojeda, one of Mexico's leading winemakers, who spent nearly a decade working at Château Brane-Cantenac in Bordeaux before returning to her hometown of Ensenada to bridge French and Mexican winemaking traditions. This Nebbiolo is 100% varietal, sourced from Rancho Llano Colorado in the Valle de San Vicente subregion, fermented at low temperatures to preserve aromatic purity.

The wine opens with captivating aromas of cherry, rose petals, and red berries, accented by hints of tobacco and spice. On the palate it's well balanced and medium bodied, with flavors of cherry, raspberry, and plum, complemented by licorice and earthy undertones. The tannins are firm yet smooth, giving the wine a refined texture, and the finish is long and elegant, with lingering red fruit, spice, and a touch of minerality.

This Nebbiolo pairs beautifully with roasted meats, pasta in rich sauces, and aged cheeses, making it a great choice for gourmet meals and special occasions.
