The 2024 Coquard Loison Fleurot Vosne-Romanée is a 100% Pinot Noir village wine from Domaine Coquard Loison Fleurot, a family estate based in Flagey-Échezeaux that has quickly become one of the Côte de Nuits' most closely watched addresses. Winemaker Thomas Colladot works with a nine day cold soak ahead of a fermentation lasting twenty to twenty four days, drawing on old vines, many planted between the 1920s and 1960s, to give the wines natural concentration alongside real purity of fruit. This village cuvée is typically assembled from several lieux-dits within the appellation.

The wine tends to show a lifted, floral character, with violet aromatics wrapping around bright red and black cherry fruit. On the palate, expect a medium body with firm, fine tannins and a touch of savory spice, sometimes with hints of tea leaf or bay leaf, that settle into a long, gently gripping finish. Vosne-Romanée is widely regarded as the most refined of the Côte de Nuits villages, and this bottling reflects that pedigree in silky texture and aromatic lift.

It pairs naturally with roasted duck, squab, or mushroom based dishes, and while approachable young, it has the structure to reward a few years in the cellar.
