The Gini family has been rooted in the village of Monteforte d'Alpone for centuries, making them among the most established names in Soave Classico. Today brothers Sandro and Claudio Gini run the twenty-five hectare estate, farming certified organic vineyards with a hands-off, near-biodynamic approach that includes pruning timed to the phases of the moon. Some of their oldest parcels hold vines planted well before phylloxera reshaped the region.

This bottling is 100 percent Garganega, sourced from hillside vineyards within the Classico zone and picked entirely by hand. Yields are kept deliberately low to concentrate flavor in the fruit. After a gentle pressing, the wine ferments and matures entirely in stainless steel, a choice the family holds to across their whole Soave Classico range in order to preserve Garganega's natural freshness rather than layering in oak character. The 2024 growing season allowed for balanced ripening, giving a wine with precise fruit and lively acidity.

The wine pours pale straw yellow with green highlights, opening to aromas of golden apple, pear, and white blossom with a whisper of honey underneath. The palate is crisp and saline, carrying bright acidity through to a clean, refreshing finish. Serve it with burrata, veal piccata, or a delicate seafood pasta.

90 Points
"The 2024 Soave Classico entices with a pretty mix of crushed yellow apples, rosemary and sweet smoke. It reverberates with zesty tension as crisp orchard fruits mingle with sour citrus tones over a core of stimulating acidity. This wine leaves the cheeks puckered and mouth
watering for more through the medium-length and crisply refreshing finale.
