Henri Boillot is based in Meursault, at the heart of Burgundy's Côte de Beaune, where the family has farmed vines since the late nineteenth century. Henri joined the domaine in the 1970s, founded the négociant house Maison Henri Boillot in the mid-1990s, and consolidated the estate under his own name in 2005. His son Guillaume now oversees viticulture and red winemaking, while Henri continues to guide the white wine program, prized for combining precision with real generosity of fruit.

This Bourgogne Blanc draws on declassified Chardonnay fruit from village and premier cru parcels in Puligny-Montrachet, Meursault, and small amounts of Saint-Aubin and Auxey-Duresses, grown on the limestone and clay soils that define the Côte de Beaune. Grapes are hand-harvested and pressed whole-cluster before fermentation, then aged in a mix of barrels, largely neutral, with only a small portion in new oak, preserving freshness over overt wood influence.

The 2024 opens with citrus-leaning aromatics layered with stony minerality and vibrant freshness, echoing the tension and precision of the 2014 vintage. The palate is lean and energetic, built around bright lemon and green apple fruit with a chalky, saline edge on the finish. It's a versatile pour alongside roast chicken, goat cheese, or simple grilled fish.
