Poruzots occupies a prime mid-slope position sandwiched between Genevrières and Les Gouttes d'Or — right in the beating heart of Meursault Premier Cru country. It's a site known for combining the opulence and weight of its neighbors with its own distinct energy and minerality. In Boillot's hands, the nose opens with white blossom, acacia, honeysuckle, and yellow fruit — elegant, smooth, and very pure — with excellent precision and fine minerality on the palate.
