Beyond his own domaine, Henri Boillot also operates Maison Henri Boillot, a négociant business he founded in 1996 dedicated exclusively to white wines, sourcing small parcels from trusted growers across some of Burgundy's finest white appellations, including grand crus like Corton-Charlemagne, Montrachet, and Chevalier-Montrachet. Henri was an early adopter of lutte raisonnée, a non-interventionist approach to viticulture that limits vineyard access to protect soil health, a philosophy he applied well before it became common practice in the region. Both the domaine and négociant wines are made in the same Meursault winery, built in 2000, where Henri favors whole-bunch pressing and skips bâtonnage entirely, aging his whites in a mix of new and one-year-old barrels, often larger than the Burgundian norm at 350 liters.

Les Poruzots takes its name from an old word for "stony place," and the vineyard occupies a prime mid-slope position between Les Genevrières and Les Gouttes d'Or, facing slightly north of east on clay and limestone soil. The grapes ferment and age in oak casks, roughly half of them new, for about twelve months, with full malolactic fermentation encouraged to build texture.

The wine shows a golden yellow color with green tints, offering fresh citrus, acacia blossom, and honey with a touch of pepper. The palate carries a lively mineral core, medium to full body, and notes of buttered toast and praline through a long, persistent finish. It pairs beautifully with roast chicken, creamy seafood dishes, or aged cheeses.
