2024 Hexamer, Helmut - Meddersheimer Rheingrafenberg Riesling Quartzit (750ml)

Harald and Petra Hexamer farm 7.5 hectares of the Meddersheimer Rheingrafenberg, a steep, southeast-facing slope of red sandstone with pockets of quartzite that produce especially small, concentrated berries. This "Quarzit" cuvée is sourced specifically from the quartzite-rich parcels, giving the wine its name and its distinctly steely, mineral-driven character. Expect a nose of citrus, white currant, and stone fruit, with a bright, racy palate balancing ripe fruit against pronounced acidity, finishing with a crisp, salty minerality typical of the site. A classic, transparent expression of Nahe Riesling from one of the region's most precise producers.
