Domaine Marc Morey & Fils is based in Chassagne-Montrachet and is now run by Sabine Mollard, granddaughter of the estate's founder, alongside her husband Bernard. The couple oversee a range of terroir-focused white Burgundies drawn from parcels across Chassagne-Montrachet, Puligny-Montrachet, and Saint-Aubin, with this Bourgogne Blanc serving as the domaine's entry point into that style. The wines here are known for a fragrant, mineral-tinged character that carries through even at the regional level.

The 2024 growing season was a difficult one across Burgundy, marked by a wet, cool winter and spring that brought heavy rain and localized frost damage to the region. Made entirely from Chardonnay, the wine begins fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks before being moved to oak barrels roughly a year old, where it completes malolactic fermentation and rests on its lees, with regular stirring to build texture and mineral depth.

The nose is pure and lifted, with floral and fruity tones alongside soft butter and vanilla notes from time in wood. The palate is full and firm, mouth filling and juicy, finishing rounded and creamy with real length. Pair with roast chicken or grilled fish.
