2024 Palacio de Fefinanes - Albarino Rias Baixas (750ml)
One of the most historic names in Albariño — Bodega del Palacio de Fefiñanes has been linked to wine since the 17th century and is a pioneer in the development and marketing of the Albariño grape variety, with the first vintage of this wine made in 1928. Grapes sourced from the Salnés Valley, grown on granite soils, with cold fermentation in stainless steel preserving aromatic intensity. Bright straw in the glass with mineral, citrus, and white fruit aromatics on the expressive nose; fresh, flavorful, and saline on the palate. Aromas of grapefruit and pineapple with flavors of peach, lemon, honeysuckle, dried thyme, and a touch of clamshell on the brilliant finish. Classic Albariño that is good young but actually improves over two to three years and remains drinkable for up to five. Exceptional QPR from an address with nearly a century of history
